Terms of service

The rules that apply when your organisation builds on the RubixPe platform.

Agreement to these terms

These terms govern your access to the RubixPe website, dashboard, APIs and related services. By creating an account or issuing an API request, you agree to them on behalf of the organisation you represent.

Where you have signed a separate master services agreement with us, that agreement prevails wherever it conflicts with these terms.

Eligibility and onboarding

The platform is offered to registered businesses, not to individual consumers. Access to live money movement begins only after you complete our onboarding checks and any checks required by the relevant partner bank.

You must keep the information you give us during onboarding accurate, and tell us promptly if your business model, ownership or use case changes materially.

Your account and credentials

  • API keys are confidential. You are responsible for every request made with your keys.
  • Restrict access to production keys to the smallest possible group, and rotate them if exposure is suspected.
  • Enable the access controls we make available, including approval workflows on disbursal queues.
  • Notify us without delay if you become aware of unauthorised access.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the platform for any activity prohibited by law or by our partner banks and card networks.
  • Do not use it to facilitate gambling, unlicensed lending, unregistered investment schemes or any restricted category we notify you of.
  • Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits, probe the platform without authorisation, or reverse engineer our systems.
  • Do not misrepresent the source or purpose of funds, or route transactions on behalf of an undisclosed third party.

Fees and settlement

Fees, volume commitments and settlement cycles are set out in your order form. Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of applicable taxes and are invoiced monthly.

Settlement timelines depend on the rail and on the partner bank. We publish expected timelines and notify you of changes, but we do not control the underlying network schedules.

Service levels and support

We target high availability for our APIs and publish incident history. Specific uptime commitments, credits and support response times apply where your order form includes them.

Planned maintenance is announced in advance and scheduled outside peak windows wherever possible.

Data and confidentiality

Each party keeps the other party's confidential information secret and uses it only to perform this agreement. Our handling of personal data is described in our privacy policy.

You retain rights in the data you submit. You grant us the limited licence needed to operate the services, meet regulatory duties and produce aggregated, non-identifying insights.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend access without prior notice where required by a regulator or partner bank, where fraud or a security risk is suspected, or where continued use would breach law.

Either party may terminate for material breach that is not cured within the notice period. On termination you must stop using the APIs, and we will help you export your data for a reasonable transition period.

Warranties and liability

The services are provided as described in our documentation. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties not expressly stated here.

Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, except for liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these terms and will post the revised version here with a new date. Material changes take effect thirty days after posting for existing customers.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction. For questions, write to connect@rubixpe.com.
